FAQ

Your guide will wear a red company t-shirt OR a red umbrella.

If you enjoyed your tour you can tip your guide for the time and effort they spend with you during your experience! Free tours do not have a set price, instead, you can give your tour guide at the end of the tour the amount that you consider appropriate (tips usually range from 10€ to 50€ or even more depending on your satisfaction with the tour).

Share your feedback experience with a good review on TripAdvisor or on Google reviews.

We operate free walking tours, however, there is a cost to everything. To successfully operate the tours, we need to pay for administration, like the websites’ fees & commissions, materials, and other things which we sometimes need to cover with a percentage of the tips. However, our guides still keep a fair share of what they make. In 2019 we also started a new initiative called the Social Riviera Project where we give 10% of our tips to a charity. We chose a new charity every 3 months to make sure we are helping out in all the different areas we can.

The “day” walking tour of Nice which starts at 11:00 (am) gives everyone a general overview of Nice and is a great starting point for your holiday. It is usually more “full” during the summer season, with groups, averaging between 20 and 40 people. The “night” tour, which starts at 18:00 (6:00 pm) allows for enjoyment of the beautiful evening scenery!

On the other hand, our morning tour finishes at the Castle Hill & The night tour finishes at Garibaldi Square.

We want to accommodate and offer our tour to as many individuals as possible, therefore, in case of bookings for groups of 8 and more people, we charge 15 Eur per person. Thank you for understanding.

If you’ve booked a FREE tour (day or night) of Nice for another day that you’ve intended or something came up and you want to change the date, please let us know on info@rivierabarcrawl.com. We will note that you did not attend on the original date and that’s it. If you have booked for any of the PAID activities (bar crawl, tour, or other activity), for the wrong date, please contact us on info@rivierabarcrawl.com as soon as possible. We will review the request for change and proceed however is needed. It is not guaranteed that a change will be possible, however, in most cases, there shouldn’t be a problem.

In case you wanted to attend a FREE tour but now you cannot, just let us know on our email address info@rivierabarcrawltours.com. For cancellation of a PAID activity (bar crawl, tour or other activity) we redirect you to what is stated in our terms & conditions. “All cancellations made at least 72 hours in advance will be refunded 50%.” Generally speaking, we do not refund the tickets after that.

Yes it is possible we are happy to welcome families in the tour. You can use your stroller in the old town and on the Promenade des Anglais. We end the tour at the Castle Hill of Nice so you can take the elevator while your guide walks up and rejoin the rest of the group at the top.
